Lifespan Opportunities in Washington and Hancock Counties

Giving Magic

Introduction

No image description available

Downeast Community Partners is helping make the holidays magical.

Each year, DCP provides at least 600 kids (ages birth through 12th grade) in Hancock and Washington counties with holiday gifts. This is a significant undertaking that benefits from the support of both individual and business donors as well as toy drives in the community. It takes all of us to make the magic happen.

If you are able to be part of the holiday magic for others, there are two great ways to get involved:

  • Call (207) 610-5864 to sponsor one or more families and fulfill their wish lists.
  • Make a donation here. Please choose "Giving Magic" from the "I want to support" drop-down menu.

If you need some help making the holidays magical for the kids in your life, We are here for you.

There are no income limitations, simply call (207) 610-5908 in Ellsworth or (207) 610-5978 in Machias to sign up.

We will be signing kids up to receive gifts from Wednesday, July 31, 2024 through Monday, December 2, 2024.

Once you have signed up, a little bit of shopping and magic take place. Then, we will contact you to arrange gift pickup.
